About CDI » Curriculum
CDI provides a high quality early childhood curriculum. We provide teachers with a minimum of two hours per week of out of the classroom time to work on curriculum development and create lesson plans for each of our learners. Our class sizes are intentionally smaller than those of similar programs. We partner with the Madison Metropolitan School District to track children in the graduating classes of our pre-kindergarten through the end of third grade to measure their readiness and success. This helps us continue to adjust our curriculum to best meet the needs of our students.
CDI also offers Dane County's only preschool that provides a comprehensive focus on math and science. How do we teach such complicated subjects to small children? Through a completely age appropriate hands on learning approach that is based in play. We know young children learn best through play and exploration, our schools provide the perfect opportunity to do just that! It is just another way we are giving a leg up to the children of CDI.
